May Newsletter
May is going to be busy as we are getting close to the end of the year!
Classwork: Math: I will be starting our unit on geometry and shapes and then moving into the area and perimeter of a rectangle. This will be confusing for the students remembering what to do for area and perimeter but my goal is for them to master it by the end of the unit.
Science: I will begin a measurement unit in Science. We will work on this for a month or so.
Homework: The students have been doing a great job with their homework and getting their agenda books signed! We will still have homework every night except for Friday. Students should continue their reading and practicing math at home. I will continue to send home the reading comprehension worksheet that will be due Friday's. Please make sure that your child is practicing their reading comprehension and turning in their worksheets on Friday.
It is exciting that we are so close to the end of the year and have learned so much!
As always, if you have any questions, comments or concerns please don't hesitate to to contact me.
